Santhakumaaran Thampi , a writer and [[philanthropist]], began his passion for writing after his retirement. He published a novel in Malayalam titled ‘Nandagopuram’ and a collection of poems in Malayalam titled ‘Santhakumarinte Kavithakal’. When he passed away in 2007,his famliy formed a trust named Santhakumaran Thampi Foundation . They also constituted an award for outstanding literary works in Malayalam titled Santhakumaran Thampi Award. Santham Masika was launched by the foundation in June, 2012.<br />

He worked as a Book Editor & Conceptualize of Zorba Publications, Palakkad, since 2001, Associate Editor of Kalabhasha Art Journal, published from Palakkad during 2008-2009, Editorial consultant of Cultural Directory, published by DTPC, Palakkad, Assistant Editor of Janashakthi Weekly, Trivandrum. P.V Mohanan (Malayalam: പി.വി.മോഹനൻ) is a [[writer]] and [[sociocultural]] activist. At present, he works as the Managing Editor of Santham Masika,published by Santhakumaran Thampi Foundation. He also practices natural farming at his farm at T.Narsipura Taluk, Mysore. His articles cover topics like Environment, Current Affairs, Anarchism, Eastern Philosophy and Gandhian Philosophy among others.
