Early beginnings
Born in Northampton, Walker moved to Bergen, Norway, with his Norwegian mother and English father at the age of two. Growing up in the digital era, Walker found an early interest in computers which later turned into a fascination for programming and graphic design. He initially had no music history, however he later taught himself by browsing YouTube videos based on music production.[1] In 2012 he started making music on his laptop and his songs soon caught the attention of record labels.

"Fade"
Walker's song "Fade" gained attention after its release on YouTube via the label NoCopyrightSounds. It has became the most popular track in the channel, as well as one of the most used background music on YouTube. The track was later included in NoCopyrightSounds' album "NCS: Uplifting". The tracks "Spectre" and "Force" followed in 2015.
2015
"Faded"
Walker signed with MER Musikk under Sony Music Sweden and his next single, "Faded", was a remastered vocal version of "Fade". It was released 25 November and featured uncredited female vocalist Iselin Solheim.[2] The song topped the Norwegian VG-lista singles chart and the Swedish Sverigetopplistan charts, iTunes charts in 32 countries, as well as entering top 10 in Spotify Global Chart. It was a hit in Finland, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, many parts of European countries and some Asian countries.[3] The music video on YouTube has over 700 milion views and 4 million likes, placing it among the top 40 most liked YouTube videos.
