Victoria Schofield

Rosemary Victoria Schofield is a British author, biographer, and military historian. Her most recent books are The Highland Furies: The Black Watch 1739-1899, and Witness to History: The Life of John Wheeler-Bennett. She also authored the first full-length biography of Field Marshal Archibald Wavell. An authority on the Afghanistan/Pakistan/Kashmir region, she regularly contributes to British national and specialist media.

Victoria Schofield was educated at the Royal Naval School for Girls, and at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford, from which she holds an M.A. degree in Modern History.
