DescriptionStocksbridge - Samuel Fox Steel and Iron Works.jpg
English: Samuel Fox Steel and Iron Works, Stocksbridge This picture shows most of the original buildings of Samuel Fox's Steel and Iron Works ... now incorporated into the present day Steelworks of Corus. Samuel Fox took over the existing mill in 1842 to start up his Wire Drawing business, using the end product for Umbrella and Crinoline Frames. I have been inside the small building (in a former job) and can say that it is just as good on the inside as the outside. 10320691032411
