  • Comment: None of these articles are about religion in fantasy, they are instead all articles about various IP properties. Further, NGE is not fantasy, it is Science Fiction. As could also apply to all but Pan. Category:Fiction about religion illustrates the problem with the proposed name. Thanks for your interest in my request. These works portray religion in fantasy by blending theological mythos into speculative fiction. The Great God Pan explores pagan knowledge from occult mysticism. A Voyage to Arcturus follows a journey of esoteric spiritual transformation. Lord of Light reinvents Eastern mythologies through themes of karmic reincarnation. Star Wars reimagines the epic hero journey with magic powers inspired by Asian faiths promoting balance. Neon Genesis Evangelion has rich Abrahamic symbolism about existential dilemmas. All incorporate religious themes as integral parts of their fantastic narratives. But none of them are religion articles, thus do not fit under the proposed title. And we have separate science fiction and fantasy category trees, and most of these do not fit under fantasy. All of the suggested articles are fantasy fiction with religious themes, some of which are also science fiction. There is already a current Religion in Science Fiction category, so the new one would be similar for fantasy. All of the works listed (The Great God Pan, A Voyage to Arcturus, Lord of Light, Riverworld, Zardoz, Star Wars, and Neon Genesis Evangelion) can be described as fantasy with religion in it because they mix mythological, spiritual, and metaphysical themes with fantastic elements rather than they adhere strictly to realistic or plausible science. Though varying in tone and setting, all are explorations of storytelling with divine forces, soul transformations, or philosophical struggles in ways aligning with fantasy fictions more that sci-fi or horror. These are fictions with religious content rather than fictions about religious faiths.   • Declined. I don't believe this category is suitable. Religion isn't an obscure topic, it shows up in many forms throughout media. I certainly don't see how Star Wars is suited to this category, and it is far too much of a stretch to make for many other listed pages. Many of these pages are already categorized with religion-related categories, and adding this category is not to going to aid in categorization, it will just be an extra, unhelpful category on far too many pages. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 15:45, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they are covered there, hovever, they are also races in the Supersport championship, thus to be categorized into this different championship. They'd be accessible from a grouped season category for navigation in the Supersport category tree.   • There are almost certainly more on wikipedia that will benefit from this. But many of the people on the page jauhar have links to the pages of eg people who ordered a war against them, or who ordered that the dead woman commit suicide by self-immolation listed instead of their own names! because ancient sexism. That is a much bigger category and worthy of inclusion too, so I have added it to this request. Numerous examples on the page for jauhar.

Notes: I found a person who committed jauhar miscategorized as a person who committed sati. However, according to the jauhar page these are significantly different practices: 

The practice of jauhar has been claimed as being culturally related to Sati, with both being a form of suicide by women through self-immolation. However, the two are only superficially similar, with the underlying reason for both being significantly different. Sati was the custom of a widow committing suicide by sitting on her husband's funeral pyre.[21] Jauhar was collective self-immolation by women in order to escape being captured and forced into slavery by invaders[22] when defeat was imminent.

Buck Rogers could fit into Category:Public domain comics, side from that I don't see a need for this category unless there is a large amount of notable pages that could be categorized in it.
