2025 Le Mans Cup

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2025 Le Mans Cup, known as the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup under sponsorship, will be the tenth season of the Le Mans Cup. The six-event series will begin at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 5 April and conclude at Algarve International Circuit on 18 October.[1] The series is open to Le Mans Prototypes in the LMP3 class, now split into two, and grand tourer sports cars in the GT3 class.[2] The season will mark the debut of the new, third-generation LMP3 cars.[3]

Calendar

[edit]

The provisional calendar for the 2025 season was announced on 2 October 2024.[1] Silverstone Circuit was added to the calendar for the first time, replacing the round at Mugello. Starting this season, the race duration will be extended from 1 hour and 50 minutes to 2 hours, except for the Silverstone round, which will keep its original length. The Road to Le Mans races will run for 1 hour instead of 55 minutes.[4]
