The 2025 Philippine local elections in Western Visayas are scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025.

Incumbent Jose Enrique Miraflores (Lakas–CMD) is running for a second term. He was elected under PDP–Laban with 62.97% of the vote in 2022.

Miraflores is running against Pier Teodosio (Independent) and Willie Tolentino (Independent).[1]

Vice Governor

Term-limited incumbent Boy Quimpo (Lakas–CMD) is running for the Aklan Provincial Board in the 1st provincial district. He was re-elected under the Nacionalista Party with 48.63% of the vote in 2022.

Lakas–CMD nominated Balete mayor Dexter Calizo, who is running against former Makato mayor Jun Legaspi (Aksyon Demokratiko).[1]

Term-limited incumbent Rhodora Cadiao (National Unity Party) is running for the House of Representatives in Antique's lone legislative district.[3] She was re-elected with 75.58% of the vote in 2022.

Cadiao endorsed former Department of the Interior and Local Government undersecretary Jonathan Tan (Independent), who is running against Antique vice governor Edgar Denosta (Nacionalista Party), former representative Paolo Javier (Aksyon Demokratiko) and four other candidates.[4][5][6]

Vice Governor

Term-limited incumbent Edgar Denosta (Nacionalista Party) is running for governor of Antique.[4] He was re-elected under the Nationalist People's Coalition with 49.16% of the vote in 2022.

Denosta endorsed Antique board member Maye Plameras (Nationalist People's Coalition), who is running against Caluya vice mayor Genevive Lim (National Unity Party), former Bureau of Customs deputy commissioner Edward Dy Buco (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) and Rosario Bantolo (Independent).[6]

Term-limited incumbent Edward Gando (National Unity Party) is running for mayor of Jordan. He was re-elected under PDP–Laban with 63.41% of the vote in 2022.
