Corinth Holders High School is a high school in Archer Lodge, North Carolina, United States. It opened in the fall of 2010. It is a part of Johnston County School District. It is between Archer Lodge, and the town of Zebulon, North Carolina.
Sports
[edit]Corinth Holders competes in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association in the Greater Neuse River Athletic Conference with a 4A classification. Sports offered to everyone include basketball, cross country, golf, indoor track and field, lacrosse, swimming, soccer, tennis, track and field, and wrestling. Men's sports include football and baseball, while women's sports include softball, stunt, cheerleading, and gymnastics.
Titles
[edit]The Stunt team won the 2023 Wake County Stunt Championships. They are the only stunt team in the county. The baseball team has won 4 conference championships. The basketball teams have each won one.
Fine Arts
[edit]Corinth Holders Bands and Ensembles is home to some of the top ensembles in the local area. The marching band has a series of local successes, including Grand Champions at competitions held at Scotland High School (2019), John A. Holmes High School (2021), and Havelock High School (2022). They won third place at the 62nd Cary Band Day, the largest competition in North Carolina, and also had the highest color guard score of the day. The school's winter programs compete locally in the Atlantic Indoor Association, the Carolina Winter Ensembles Association, and internationally in Winter Guard International. The percussion ensemble won third place in Scholastic Concert Open in 2015 and the winds group won the gold medal in Scholastic A in 2022. They are currently the only percussion group in the state competing in World Class.
