Fictional character biography

[edit]

Dinah Soar is a humanoid pterosaur from the Savage Land of unknown origin and a founding member of the Great Lakes Avengers (GLA).[2] She is a lover of team leader Mr. Immortal who can calm the rage he suffers after resurrecting.[3] However, Dinah is unable to speak English and thus communicates with chirps.[4]

In G.L.A. #1 (April 2005), Dinah is killed by Maelstrom. She is later revealed to have been transported to a limbo-like afterlife along with other deceased GLA members.[5][6][2]

Powers and abilities

[edit]

Dinah Soar possesses a pterosaur-like physiology that enables her to fly at high speeds. She has a hypersonic voice that allows her to project inaudible sound waves, as well as an empathic rapport capable of calming Mr. Immortal after he resurrects.[5][6][7][8]
