The promotion of the first Bhojpuri film Sanyog at the Cannes Film Festival was carried out by Rajpal Yadav on behalf of IMPPA. The collaboration seeks to highlight the diverse narratives and rich cultural heritage of Indian films on an international platform.[10]
This Cannes festival's Indian Pavilion, designed by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, is named The Sutradhara to reflect this year’s theme, “Create in India.” This theme underscores India’s commitment to showcasing its cinematic heritage and fostering international collaborations. As part of the Cannes Film Festival, the NFDC, in partnership with FICCI, organized a special event titled Bharat Parva. Held at the French Riviera, the event commenced with an address by Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.[11][12][13]
