Six months after the recapture of the capital, King Ying Zheng of Qin survives an assassination attempt with the help of Xin. Around the same time, Qin faces an assault from the neighboring country Wei's army, led by Wu Qing, one of the Seven Masters of Wei Fire Dragon. In response, General Bai Gong leads Qin's army to the Hegan Plains, where Xin and the 4th Division, joined by Qiang Lei, fight valiantly despite heavy losses.
After a daring counterattack supported by Commander Shibaku Toushin, they defeat Wei’s Vice-General Miyamoto. The arrival of Wang Qi, one of Qin’s legendary Six Great Generals, inspires Xin with valuable lessons on leadership. Meanwhile, Bai Gong defeats Wu Qing in single combat, which forces Wei's retreat.
After the battle, Qiang Lei (Kyou Kai) departs to avenge her sister. It is later revealed that the assassination attempt on Ying Zheng was orchestrated by the right prime minister, Lu Buwei. Seeking to grow stronger, Xin trains under Wang Qi's mentorship. The film concludes with Xin being promoted to the rank of centurion by King Ying Zheng.
