Neagley is an upcoming American television series based on the character created by Lee Child. It is a spin-off series from the Reacher television series, with Maria Sten reprising the role of Frances Neagley.

Premise

Neagley seeks the truth after an old friend dies in a suspicious accident.[1]

The series received a series order from Amazon Prime Video in October 2024.[2]

Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton developed, are executive producers, and co-showrunners of the series, which is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Skydance Television, along with CBS Studios. The series is also executive-produced by Lee Child, Don Granger, and Lisa Kussner with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Matt Thunell, Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid, and Niko Fernandez.[3]

Sten was excited to delve into Neagley's life since she couldn't do so in Reacher: "Neagley has a lot going on in her life. She has a history, and she has a life lived. She has some quite severe personal issues of her own that she’s grappling with…I’m just thrilled to get going and sink my teeth in".[4]

Casting

Sten reprises her role of Frances Neagley from Reacher with Alan Ritchson appearing as Jack Reacher in a guest starring role.[3] In February 2025, Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro and Damon Herriman were cast as series regular.[5]

Filming

Filming began in Toronto on February 18, 2025, with the schedule to last into June 2025.[6][7]

Release

Neagley is expected to be released in 2026.[8]
