Saint or not?
[edit]Is he a saint? The New Catholic Encyclopedia does not think so, nor does the Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church, nor does Pope Benedict XVI, who gave a talk on him (published in various editions). He may be a saint in an Eastern Church, but it needs to be documented reliably. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.242.180.145 (talk) 17:45, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Paganism?
[edit]"The author, who was known as "the Persian sage", may have come from a pagan family and been himself a convert from paganism, though this appears to be later speculation."
"Paganism"? Is that supposed to be Zoroastrianism in this context? --HistoryofIran (talk) 16:25, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
