Lily Letitia Ogilvie (31 October 1883 - 13 July 1955) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

Her father was William Falconer Ogilvie (4 December 1822 - 12 October 1905) from Ancrum in Roxburghshire. He was a Captain in the Bengal army and then retired living on private means.
Her mother was Sabina Jessie Macpherson (1851 - 11 December 1925) from London, England. William and Sabina married on 28 January 1881 in Edinburgh.
Lilian Letitia Ogilvie was born on 31 October 1883 at 10.30pm at 7 Leven Terrace, Edinburgh.
Her sister was the artist Jessie Margaret Ogilvie (9 May 1886 - 14 July 1967).

[edit]She died on 13 July 1955 in Edinburgh. Her usual address was given as 14 Campbell Avenue, Murrayfield. She was buried in Dean cemetery, Edinburgh.[5]
