ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:14, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Hello - what basis do you have to believe that this article is the primary topic? Judging by page views alone, slightly more readers are looking for the unfinished battleship. As far as I can tell, both are very obscure topics (and that's coming from the person who wrote them), neither of which would be considered primary. Parsecboy (talk) 10:28, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Sorry I didn't look too deeply into this at the time. I found the article via the GA mismatches. I was mostly concerned about realigning SMS Sachsen and Talk:SMS Sachsen, as they previously referred to two different things, and saw that the hatnote only pointed to Sachsen (ship) (which I now see refers to another SMS Sachsen). I have no problem with the move to SMS Sachsen (1877) per se, but if that happens can I suggest that SMS Sachsen redirect to Sachsen (ship)? And further, that when the move happens, both SMS Sachsen and its talk page are moved to aligned titles? If the move happens again, the listing at Wikipedia:Good articles/Warfare will also need to be updated.Adabow (talk) 02:59, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- No problem - I was apparently a little sloppy with the talk pages ;) I'll fix them now. Thanks. Parsecboy (talk) 13:27, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
