Caught's release date fields

[edit]

In the television infobox, either the released field or the first aired and last aired fields need to be used. Currently the article is using released and last aired fields, which places it in the maintenance category of Category:Pages using infobox television with nonstandard dates. If the series has been cancelled, which I cannot find information on that, it only needs to use the released field. If the series is ongoing, it needs to use the first aired and last aired fields, even if all of the first season episodes were released the same day. To avoid an edit war, I will leave it up to you which choice is correct. Aspects (talk) 14:43, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Neither Template:Infobox television nor Template:Infobox television season say to not use the released and last aired fields at the same time. It does however state to not use the first aired field when a series releases all their episodes at the same time. As well as to not use the released and first aired fields at the same time. This seems like a case where either the maintenance category needs to be fixed or a template talk page discussion should occur. Happily888 (talk) 15:09, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please not edit my edits on the voice pages. I did that incase people didn't want to click on each individual wikipedia page to find out who each person looks like. It might sound dumb but I'm just letting you know. TypicallyRyan (talk) 05:46, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please see MOS:IMGSIZE and WP:SENTENCECASE prior to editing galleries in articles. You might also find this short tutorial helpful. Happily888 (talk) 03:03, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I already know what I'm doing though, so I don't see the need to remove my edits. TypicallyRyan (talk) 06:35, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Scrap that, I understand now. I don’t mean to be rude or come across as negative. I’ll have a look at the links. TypicallyRyan (talk) 07:22, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Remember to claim your points within 14 days of earning them, and importantly, before the deadline on 31 October.

If you would like to learn more about rules and scoring for the 2024 WikiCup, please see this page. Further questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges (Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs), Epicgenius (talk · contribs), and Frostly (talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. Australian Survivor footnotes

[edit]

Hi, you removed the Efn footnotes I added on the Australian Survivor Network 10 season articles. The season numbering is supremely confusing because Network 10 discounts the first 2 seasons on Nine and Seven. Can I add them back? Also, maybe we could do a small text underneath the infobox saying Season 6 of Network 10 edition. MarkiPoli (talk) 11:51, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Consensus on Australian Survivor talk page is to use production company season numbering on main and season artices, not the Network 10 season numbering. If you would like to change this, you could start a discussion on talk page to gain consensus for this addition or change, but it in general feels unnecessary and more confusing to be adding Network 10 season numbering.
