The result of the discussion was keep Consensus that this is an {{R from lyric}} keep. (non-admin closure) estar8806 (talk) 00:16, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First line of song, improbable search term ThadeusOfNazereth(he/him)Talk to Me! 22:36, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep – It being an {{R from lyric}} per above makes it a probable search term by people who either don’t know or don’t remember the name of the song while still knowing how it opens. Randi Moth TalkContribs 08:43, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Weak keep, it is a plausible, even if not especially likely, search term for someone who doesn't know the name of the song, which is a reason we have {{R from lyric}}s in the first place. No significant downside to keeping this around; net positive. 74.73.224.126 (talk) 01:31, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This used to be mentioned, but editing over the last few months has removed a great deal of material related to India from the history section. It think it is likely that at some point some of that material will be restored. --JBL (talk) 23:42, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Our further reading sections are not typically accessed through this kind of redirect so it makes "Akiki Nyabongo/Bibliography" a very unlikely search term. Pichpich (talk) 22:28, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Citations aren't copyrightable, so there's no need for that. * Pppery * it has begun... 00:58, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • This was a separate page, created by Deborahw20 (a student editor who also created Akiki Nyabongo), until MPGuy2824 merged it into the article with the summary "copied contents to that section". It looks like most if not all of the entries are redundant with the references used in the article, and I suspect it was originally created to aid in writing the article or perhaps to satisfy a course requirement. Given it's redundant copying it into the article was probably unnecessary; would likely have been better to just move it to user space. That said, it's probably safe to delete the redirect (per Pppery). – Scyrme (talk) 01:27, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Monochromium is a song, not a synonym for monochrome. I have no opinion on its notability, but the current redirect is wrong. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 13:17, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't think the song has a mention on Wikipedia; I wasn't able to find one. Searching on Google, it seems the band is called "Glass Remnant" but I don't think they have an article either. Neither the song nor monochrome seem to be the primary topic for this term in English. Virtually all results on Google Scholar and Google Books are for Chromium compounds. – Scyrme (talk) 13:53, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Revert move w/ redirect per Trödel and Presidentman. Up until 29 January 2023, List of football clubs in Wales actually was the big list we now have at List of men's football clubs in Wales, with, unfortunately, no women's clubs. I agree it would be better to include any women's clubs (I presume there are some, and that we know of them) on an all-inclusive List of football clubs in Wales, to which end the January rename should be reverted. — JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 06:54, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Retarget Vikvaersk to Norwegian dialects, delete Wickish. signed, Rosguill talk 00:57, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at target. Briefly listed at Norwegian dialects (not "Wickish", however). 1234qwer1234qwer4 00:02, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Norwegian dialects. The 1st two at the very least, which are mentioned there... Wickish I can't find any information about in a brief google search. If no one can find anything on it, go ahead and Delete that one, but if confirmation can be found that it exists, add it the the dialects page and retarget it there too. Fieari (talk) 05:13, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - Wickish was an unreferenced article until it was blanked and redirected by Onel5969. The article had previously been at the title Vikværsk until Karamellpudding1999 moved the page giving the reason "official English name of the dialect". – Scyrme (talk) 07:58, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, searching "Wickish" I was only able to find a family name and a dialectal English word, not a Norwegian dialect by that name. I suspect the editor attempted to calque the Norwegian term. (As a calque it's actually incomplete since it doesn't include the -vær element. A complete calque would be Wickerish, with "Wicker" being a demonym. I wouldn't suggest creating a redirect for that though.)Scyrme (talk) 08:10, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. While coverage that could be used to support readding him to the list was provided, editors equivocated on whether such coverage is truly appropriate. No prejudice to recreation if relevant content is added to the target. signed, Rosguill talk 00:50, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in redirect target since 2019, so these redirects should be deleted. I made the former page from an article into a redirect in 2007 after a no-consensus AFD. At its talk page, the article creator said in 2007 that he was OK with the article's deletion. I was reminded of this situation by this village pump policy thread. Graham87 08:39, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both, as our redirects shouldn't lead the reader to an empty marsh where there's nothing to see. — JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 13:31, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • If the subject is notable, then the pre-BLAR content may be restored and enhanced. There was no consensus for deletion even in 2007. The subject will be in his 30s now and the arguments about privacy may have changed. Jondel was not really the article creator, but one among multiple authors of the article. If the subject is not notable, delete. I don't believe content at the page history was merged to any article, so there won't be a need to retain it. Jay 💬 14:37, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Struck off the delete. One of the links by casualdejekyll is from 2016, so I'll assume there is still interest about the subject, and he can be added back to the target. Jay 💬 13:53, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Eh, there's probably enough coverage [2][3][4] to justify re-adding him to the list, but if he isn't added to the list then it makes sense to delete. Privacy concerns are still probably valid - he's definitely a relatively unknown, non-public figure. casualdejekyll 20:37, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
